Wall
Of Voodoo EP
- This 1979 EP introduced a fitful, edgy and mechanized sound
veering violently from eerily electronic soundscapes to virile
cowboy twangs and was hailed by critics in the US and Europe
for the inventiveness of the songwriting and its distinctive
singer and sound, as well as the promise of things to come.
This collection has since been re-released as Wall Of Voodoo--The
Index Masters along with a full "live concert" performance
of the original band at that time. Many still consider "Ring
Of Fire" to be one of the all time greatest covers ever made.
